Easily one of the oldest and most popular spots for po’ boys in New Orleans, Parkway has been serving locals and tourists on its screened-in patio since 1911. The site of an incredible Katrina comeback, this neighborhood spot reopened less than four months after taking on six feet of water in the flood. The tavern, covered in antique signs, is famous for its “Surf & Turf” po’ boy with house-made roast beef and crispy fried shrimp topped with a healthy serving of rich, brown gravy.
