Nata & Co has serious pastry pedigree. Their head baker has a family business in Lisbon which has been dishing out tarts and cakes for decades. This Portuguese bakery started selling its carbo-treats from a stall at Splott Market but now they’ve opened their own cafe on Clifton Street in Splott. Try the dazzling pastel de nata (custard tart), the layers of flaky pastry cradling caramelized golden custard that go wonderfully with a strong coffee to start the morning.
