The Boca Chica is a vintage ‘50’s hotel, seen in the opening credits of Elvis Presley’s 1963 film Fun in Acapulco. It has been brought back to its mid-century modern splendor by the Hábita group. The view is spectacular: little modern development can be seen, as there is a nature preserve across the bay. Relax under the giant palapa and enjoy a typical Mexican breakfast of “divorced” fried eggs with red and green salsa. An evening cocktail is also a good idea. Tip: diners are welcome to take a dip in the pretty pool.
