Food Garden, located on the edge of Tijuana’s Gastronomic Zone, is a unique take on the outdoor food court. The brainchild of TJ's Ricardo Nevárez, it opened in 2013 and features 5-7 different culinary vendors who represent a selection of the best "elevated street food" in the city. Tacos and other items are only $1.50 – $3.00 US, and it’s recommended to try a sample from each vendor. Make sure to order a homemade agua fresca (soft drink) at the checkout counter.
