Tijuana brothers Pablo, Oso and “Cricket” Campos founded Tacos Kokopelli as a humble food truck parked on an otherwise empty street in downtown Tijuana. Creating fusion tacos – think Baja meets Greece, Korea and Mexico City – they have since expanded into a successful restaurant space. Their specialty, “the kraken” contains octopus marinated in pesto mexicano which is grilled to perfection and served with fresh avocado and a variety of homemade salsas, including pumpkin seed, guava and habañero on a crisp toasted tortilla.
