Salomé and Raphaël, also known as Two Geneva Foodies, love each other as much as they love food (and they really, really, really love food). They started their Instagram page, @twogenevafoodies, to change the world’s view of Geneva from a small town with just two to three restaurants to an international city filled with restaurants offering cuisine from around the globe. “We decided to only post things that we really, absolutely loved and to never post any picture of food that we disliked. Creating this page was a challenge for us. We would try at least one new restaurant each week and we would share it with the world. You will find on our page anything from a street-food vendor to a Michelin star restaurant.” Salomé is studying at the École Hotelière de Lausanne, one of the world’s most renowned hospitality schools and dreams of becoming a food critic. Raphaël works in a private Swiss bank while planning to open his own restaurant. “We never thought our Instagram page would take such a spin and that people would tag us in their pictures while going to the same restaurants as us.”
