Josh Josephson, a former research optometrist who helped develop the field of soft contact lenses, is also one of the founders and directors of a clinical stage biotherapeutics company with a drug that mitigates the adverse effects of stroke, presently in clinical trials. He was the owner of the Cookbook Store, first store in North American dedicated to books on food and wine. He is a commander of the Toronto chapter of Les Chevaliers Du Tastevin, a certified Kansas City BBQ Society judge and formerer judge at The Jack. He serves as a judge of Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants, a judge for OAD ( Opinionated About Dining) and is a former member of Le Chaine des Rotisseurs, L’ordre Mondial, L’Ordre International des Anysettiers.
