Christine’s love for food developed early. “I was the little girl on my tippy toes reaching for raw marinating beef bulgogi straight outta the bowl before I was even tall enough to see above the countertop.” Growing up in a Korean family exposed her to myriad flavors and fueled her desire to taste more.
After graduating from Johns Hopkins University with a dual major in Economics and Psychology, Christine moved to Manhattan and fell in love with NYC’s vibrant food scene. Her work took her across China, and she could not get enough of the myriad iterations of Chinese food.
A few years ago, Christine had a “life is too short” epiphany and left her life in finance and her husband to pursue her true happiness: food.
Christine loves to travel and is an adventurous eater, willing to try anything. She loves sitting down to extensive tasting menus, but can also get down and dirty with Popeye’s fried chicken.
