Chef Hazel Cuadra has become a recognized personality in the culinary field in Nicaragua, and her name is a hallmark of quality and warranty for the products she endorses. She graduated from St. Edward’s University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing. Later she went on to obtain a degree in culinary arts from the renowned Le Cordon Bleu School in Austin, Texas.

She became the host and producer of a successful television cooking show, “Super Super Rico” for four years. She published her first cookbook in celebration of the first year of the television show, with sales that surpassed all expectations. Later on, she decided to utilize her talent by creating the country’s first food magazine “Simple & Gourmet con Hazel Cuadra”. Hand in hand with innovation that characterizes Chef Hazel Cuadra, she expanded her projects by making the television version of the magazine into a cooking show, also called “Simple & Gourmet TV”. She is also currently the official culinary adviser at Mukul Resort, the first luxury resort of its kind in the region.
