The Ghantewala Halwai in Chandni Chowk in Delhi established in 1790 CE is one of the oldest traditional sweet shops in India. One of the special sweets of this place is its fabulous Sohan Halwa, which is one of its delicacies. It is a combination of sugar, milk and water and is full of clarified butter (ghee). It is garnished with almonds, pistachios and cardamom seeds.
