The Butter Chicken at Karim’s is cooked in authentic Mughal style, exceedingly appetizing and savoury, definitely meant for the royalty. It is marinated overnight in a yogurt and spice mixture usually including garam masala, ginger, garlic paste, lemon or lime, pepper, coriander, cumin, turmeric and chili so that the meat is tender and juicy once cooked. It is tossed with liberal amounts of butter and tomato to bring in the rich taste that lingers on for long afterwards.
