But the real star is the restaurant’s wide range of northwestern India cuisine. From Mughlai and Awadhi to Hyderabadi, dishes include such highlights as Hyderabadi Haleem, a savory meat stew with lentils and pounded wheat, and Raan Musallam, a curried leg of mutton that is a true meat lover’s version of paradise. Other notable dishes include the Pudina Neza, tender chicken drumsticks with a hint of mint and cilantro; Kundan Kalia, mutton on a bed of saffron-flavored gravy; and Dudhi ka Halwa, a creamy dessert spiced with cardamom and garnished with slivered almonds.
