Kebab Theatre
At Kebab Theater at Lemon Tree Hotel, colorful posters of yesteryear films evoke a retro Bollywood theme while soft calming music plays in the background. But the real star is the restaurant’s wide range of northwestern India cuisine. From Mughlai and Awadhi to Hyderabadi, dishes include such highlights as Hyderabadi Haleem, a savory meat stew with lentils and pounded wheat, and Raan Musallam, a curried leg of mutton that is a true meat lover’s version of paradise. Other notable dishes include the Pudina Neza, tender chicken drumsticks with a hint of mint and cilantro; Kundan Kalia, mutton on a bed of saffron-flavored gravy; and Dudhi ka Halwa, a creamy dessert spiced with cardamom and garnished with slivered almonds.
