Mandaga Canteen is probably one of those underrated cafes in Jakarta/a hidden gem waiting to be found. They serve Indonesian cuisine here but more heavy on the Padang cuisine like this Satay Padang (Beef Skewer) dressed in traditional rich Padang sauce. Indonesian food is well known for its rich ingredients and they’re used to marinating the meats and organs during the pre-cooking process.
