Laura Greenfield, formerly of Sotheby’s Café in London, has brought her European soul food to Wellington. Describing it as simple tried-and-true dishes that make you happy, Laura uses the freshest ingredients available, and makes much in-house. The menu is small and ever changing, with dishes like croque monsieur beignets with roasted tomato relish, or a duck, prune and green peppercorn terrine with red onion marmalade and toast. It is essential at F&G to have a scoop of house-made ice cream to finish. You will leave feeling like your soul has been touched.
