When it comes to good sushi, The Modern Eatery does it well. With beautifully constructed plates of freshly made sushi on order, their shining star on the menu is their salmon aburi sushi, which is slightly fatty, smoky from being torched and has that umami rich sauce that all good aburi sushi use. Price-wise, it’s not the cheapest Japanese in town, but if you're exploring the port city of Fremantle, it is definitely worth a visit and an indulgence in some tasty food.
