Ossenworst is an acquired taste, but once you’ve acquired it, you can’t get enough. It’s essentially a raw beef sausage that’s been smoked to give it a slightly chewy rind and a moreish smoky flavour. The best you can get comes from the loveably ancient Café de Dokter – a tiny bar, hidden down an alleyway, with cobwebs as old as its clientele.
