Petit Comité

The traditional Catalan recipes are revisited by chef Nandu Jubany in this restaurant around the corner from Passeig de Gràcia. The best Spanish products (some of them so local that you'll have to ask them what they are: piparras, calçots... He's not afraid to play with adventurous ingredients: if you are brave, go for their Cap-i-pota rice, made with offal. Or if you are more traditional, their monkfish with fried garlic never fails. I am however a big fan of trying their seasonal menu, to get a taste of what's in season. And if you are not hungry enough for a full meal, then don't miss their tapas counter and make sure to try their sobrassada (a red pork and paprika spread served on a Catalan coca flat bread toast).
