Suculent
Suculent is a cozy eatery located near Fernando Botero’s whimsical cat sculpture in the Raval district. The restaurant features a mix of vintage items and follows the philosophy of "revival rather than renewal". The menu offers two contemporary options, with reimagined Mediterranean and Spanish dishes designed for sharing. The dishes are paired with a wine flight. The restaurant focuses on deep, flavorful broths, jus, and juices to bring out the strong and punchy flavors in the cuisine. The ingredients are locally sourced, and the influence of local Catalunyan cuisine leaves a diverse, interesting, and unique taste. The head chef, Toni Romero, was born and raised in Nules in Spain’s Castellón region. He has an innate respect for the land, the sea, and the sustainably sourced ingredients he works with, from bone marrow to stingrays.
