Córdoba is the capital city of the north-central province in Andalucía, Spain. Set on the River Guadalquivir about 130 km above Seville, the city has stood here since Roman times and visitors can still walk across the old Roman Bridge. The cuisine, just as time-honoured, is essentially Andalusian, and while tapas are less prevalent in Cordoba than in other parts of Andalucia, there are plenty of places where you can sample local varieties.
