I have to admit I was skeptical about Bunsen the first time I heard about it. Dublin definitely had room for improvement in terms of burger offerings, as the ones at Jo'Burger or The Gourmet Burger Kitchen don't raise the bar for me. But Bunsen's menu just seemed too simplistic to me. I couldn't be more wrong. The flavors in the cheeseburger are perfect. The homemade bread, tender meat and melted cheese create the perfect combination. No other restaurant comes close. If you're feeling like having fries, go for the hand-cut ones. These burgers are definitely a game changer in the city. Head over to the branch on South Anne Street for a great open-air area. But be careful, because these burgers are addictive and you will have to come back.
