Riche
Meatballs

Built in 1893 and modeled on the Café Riche in Paris, this restaurant is now as modern as it gets, redesigned by internationally renowned Jonas Bohlin. Bigger than it appears from the outside, the see-and-be-seen restaurant, bar and dance hall is constantly packed with friends and colleagues, celebrities and students gathered to enjoy good food, drinks and live music. The French-influenced kitchen turns out classic Swedish fare and a few other dishes, including the popular Riche hamburger with cheddar cheese and bacon. Diners rave about the meatballs, served in a cream sauce with lingonberries and potato puree. Pro tips: Reservations are a must for dinner. And don’t be startled by the camera in the bathroom. It’s fake.
