BAR X is located in an interesting culinary point of Valencia, the Mercado de Colón. Among a wide variety of gastronomic offers, stopping at the Ricard project will not be a bad idea. Being in the center of the city, the chef believes that it is an ideal meeting point to meet for a drink and end up having lunch or dinner. The food here is at attractive prices and of the highest quality. The chef is committed to local ingredients, many from his own garden, and to the Mediterranean Sea. Here, diners can order anything from shareable portions to individual plates. Among some standouts of the menu are mussels with blue cheese, bacon and onion, the “Ricard Camarena” anchovies with buttercream, the Barx frigatells with caramelized onion and mustard sauce, and the stewed potato omelet with pickled gazpachuelo. There is also a selection of fried tapas, such as the bravas potatoes from BAR X, the ham croquettes and the fried aubergine. Among the strong options is the Galician cava puff pastry hamburger with dry tomato mayonnaise, cheese and arugula; roast suckling lamb chops with tender garlic; and the veal nugget, onion, mustard and cheese. Camarena offers various desserts that are the icing on the cake. BAR X is open for 12 hours and presently doesn't have a reservation system, so anyone can come and find a table to enjoy Camarena's touch.

In 2011 the restaurant settled in the finest neighborhood of Salamanca, on Calle del Conde de Peñalver where guests enjoy the sights of Iglesia Nuestra Senora Del Pilar with exquisite dishes here. Cañadio Madrid Restaurant has a classic and elegant atmosphere and has different spaces that adapt to each occasion. The menu here has been prepared personally by Paco Quirós, highlighting Santander-style squid rings, the classic chorizo croquettes, Santoña anchovies with roasted red pepper, and tuna and squid meatballs. And of course, eating good cheesecakes in Cañadío is the most pleasant experience here. The chef Nicolas Reyes Ruiz of the restaurant Cañadío won the first National Championship of Cheesecakes made with fresh cheese from Burgos. It shows a very creamy interior with a dense and compact appearance, but with a soft texture that becomes more honeyed towards the center, contrasting with a more toasted exterior that shows a very light crackle.

This street used to be the city limits back then, and so all along this street “Posadas” or inns were created where travelers used to stay. In the 1980s the building was falling apart, and the current owner D. Félix Colomo bought it and restored it to what we have today. The atmosphere is formal, the decoration sombre and traditional (heavy timber and brickwork). This place is specializing in traditional cuisines, like Madrilenian stew cooked in a clay pot over coals and ashes of straw and oak logs or roast lamb cooked in a clay pot in the old Arab oven, Their menu also includes cocido (which usually needs to be pre-ordered), callos (tripe) and sopa de ajo (garlic soup).
