This Bavarian restaurant in the middle of the Giesing area of Munich is a time-honored showcase of German hospitality. The 1896 building has been gutted and refurbished to its former glory, including its vintage bowling lane. New additions, like the recording of comedian Gerhard Polt, who filmed “Man Spricht Deutsch” in 1988 at the restaurant – add a modern touch. The menu excels at the classics.
