Following the success of their regular pop-ups, Got Beef opened their first bricks and mortar establishment on Whitchurch Road in early 2014. The exposed brickwork, open kitchen and neon lights of the interior are a good fit for the restaurant's craft beers and burgers. These burgers still include familiar favorites from the pop-up days including the Heisenburger - with blue drunken onions and blue cheese - and the Bombay - with curried bacon, coriander and lime mayo. But if you adhere to the principle that simple is best, order the locally sourced Welsh Black. In a sea of guilty pleasure food, why not go for broke and order the dirty fries - layering gooey cheese, spicy Cajun mayo, jalapeno slices and salty bacon bits on a bowl of fries. What’s not to like?
