Since Queensland’s first surf club was established at Tweed-Coolangatta in 1911, surf clubs have held iconic status. For generations, volunteer surf lifesavers have ensured our safety by patrolling our beaches. Meanwhile, surf clubs have held their own, providing food and entertainment with unsurpassed views of the coastline.Located on Elephant Rock on the beautiful Currumbin Beach, Currumbin Vikings (founded in 1918) is among our most highly regarded surf clubs, enjoying spectacular views up the coast, waves crashing beneath you as you dine on a platter of fresh and cooked seafood.
