Despite its touristy location on the zócalo, Nevados Don Hermilo caters to Poblano families with its unique botanas (featuring fancy-cut cheeses and lunch meats), tasty tortas, and homemade liqueurs called nevados. The drinks come in 17 milk- and hooch-based varieties, from strawberry to eggnog, and three sizes. My fave: 5-oz. Iztaccíhuatl (tequila, pomegranate, and hibiscus liqueurs with a scoop of lime sorbet).
