Restaurant Bambara, on the first floor of the centrally located Hotel Monaco, is run by head chef Nathan Powers. Voted Salt Lake City's Best Restaurant in 2000 and again in 2010, Powers has blessed Salt Lake City with delicious fine dining for the past decade. Consider his Grilled Lamb Chops. Accompanied by fried kale sprouts, the greens have a crisp and salty flavor that is unforgettable. The dish makes clever use of celery, with a celery root slaw on top of the lamb and a celery puree on the bottom. The lush greens showcase the lamb.
