Fergburger
Fergburger, or “Ferg’s” as it is affectionately known, made a name for itself as a tiny, yet hugely popular, hole-in-the-wall. These days, folks come from far and wide on a burger pilgrimage to their slightly larger home. With more than 20 wonderful incarnations to choose from, and a range that includes beef, lamb, deer and fish, it may be wise to clear your schedule. It can’t hurt that the joint is open 21 hours a day. We recommend the Sweet Bambi – wild Fiordland deer with a Thai plum chutney, lettuce, red onion and aioli. Ferg’s enthusiasts have said they would sell their soul for one.
