La Picanteria
Sudado de Pescado

This rustic lunch-only spot from Fiest Gourmet owner Hector solis is modeled after the bare bones picanterias on the north coast of Peru, which tend to have a cuisine all of their own. Each day a list of different fish, caught that morning, is posted on a blackboard and diners choose which fish they want and the several preparations, like the mouth-watering sudado, which many consider the best in the city, which is served in a tangy broth.
