Situated one minute from Jerusalem's Mahane Yehuda market, Machneyuda is considered one of the best restaurants in Jerusalem, but it’s probably the best in the country. With a fun lively atmosphere, loud music and an interactive staff, the closeness to the market is reflected in every dish. With such choices as shikshukit, a fusion of chopped meat and hummus; a dreamily creamy polenta topped with crisp asparagus, mushrooms, Parmesan and truffle oil; and an insane dessert ceremony of ice cream flung on tables, this place is always packed. It is highly recommended to reserve at least two weeks in advance.
