Tayēr + Elementary opened in June 2019, founded by world-renowned bartenders Monica Berg and Alex Kratena. The venue is split into two distinct yet interconnected spaces, each reflecting a shared philosophy of creativity, innovation, and ingredient-driven excellence.

Elementary, located at the front, is a modern neighborhood bar centered around a long communal table. It offers a relaxed, approachable experience with classic cocktails elevated by seasonal and contemporary ingredients, alongside a curated selection of highballs, wine, beer, and snacks. Guests can also enjoy the bar’s own in-house wine and beer labels.

Tayēr, tucked away behind Elementary, is a boutique cocktail bar built around a striking hexagonally segmented bar station, custom-designed by Berg and Kratena. The space exudes a test-kitchen vibe, where modern techniques meet traditional craftsmanship. The menu changes daily, celebrating the seasons through innovative preparations that highlight the purest expression of each ingredient.
