Langosta Grille
Surprisingly for an island nation, seafood is not a large part of the Cuban diet. But at this lunchtime restaurant, Langostas (large shrimp or prawns) are featured. The mosaic tiled dining room of this social club is airy and old fashioned -occasionally a bird flies through from one window to the other making for cheerful atmosphere. Fresh sweet Langostas are served broiled, accompanied by a salad. Order the congris as an accompaniment - this is the local name for rice cooked with black beans.
