Bife de Chorizo

Argentinian native Hector Avero opened this traditional Argentina parrilla, or barbeque, more than 30 years ago. Avero imports his own beef, not just for his restaurant, but for all restaurants that offer Argentine cuts in Quito. Among the house specials is the Bife de Chorizo (short loin), which is barbecued and served accompanied by French fries, baked potatoes with cheese sauce or puree.
