Restaurant El Nido, opened in 1971, is a beautiful, rustic mess of wood, stonework, waterfalls, plants, palapas, wagon wheels and folk art. Their beef comes from the nearby state of Sonora and produce, fowl and game are from the restaurant’s own ranch in the hills east of town. The parrillada (mixed grill) features grilled, succulent sirloin, venison and quail, a Baja favourite, are recommended.
