The General Muir, located in Emory Point, definitely has a New York feel. From the decor to the open floor plan, you'll definitely feel like you just walked into a New York Deli. The General Muir serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. Their menu has classic New York faves such as pastrami, which is smoked in-house. Also on their menu, they have an open-faced bagel called "Avenue A." It is a must-try! It’s a nova topped with schmear, avocado, grapefruit, cucumber, and onion. Once I laid eyes on this dish, I was instantly excited because I love smoked salmon and avocado. The bagel was fresh, and the smoked salmon kept my taste buds excited.
