Mr Chow
Is Mr. Chow expensive? Sure it is. But it’s also elegant, old school and a ton of fun. It’s a dress-up kind of place (much like Carbone in the Aria) and they know how to dress the world’s sweetest crab to a ‘t’ – in this case pulling the sweetest, steamed meat from the shell, and then folding it into a pillow of whipped egg whites that serve the dual purpose of suspending these shellfish in a gossamer cloud that adds an extra dimension of creaminess to the whole concoction. The rest of the menu is a kick too – perhaps not as authentic as some purists demand, but gussied up with good groceries and stylish service. P. S. don’t miss the Beijing duck either.
