Hungry for this classic Venezuelan street food? Owner and head Chef Felix Arellano delivers at Viva Las Arepas. When you enter, you’ll see colorful murals, as well as coolers filled with exotic drinks such as passion fruit, or even soursop (guanabana in Spanish), by the front counter. But don’t be distracted from the house specialty. Hand-crafted arepas arrive fresh from the kitchen bursting with hot and cold fillings. The flat, round cornmeal patties are grilled, making them crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Diners can order from a vast array of stuffing, including beef, chicken, roasted pork butt, cheese, beans, garlic shrimp and much more.
