A&R Barbeque is the place where many Memphis people eat their daily barbecue. Andrew & Rose Pollard founded A&R Bar-B-Q in 1983 as a fast food take-out restaurant. Traditional pulled or chopped pork sandwiches and famous fried pies are the favourites of A & R. The sandwich is the classic Memphis configuration: pork mixed with tangy red sauce piled in a bun and crowned with a spill of cole slaw. The meat is velvety and succulent and the sandwich is full of awesome flavours.
