Billed as “Arizona's Premier B.Y.O.B. Restaurant,” Atlas is, by far, the most underrated restaurant in the city. Attached to the AZ Wines on Scottsdale Road, Chef Cory Oppol tweaks the menu daily. His fine-dining skills shine on the bistro’s contemporary American offerings with ingredient-driven sophistication. Take your own wine, and enjoy such offerings as leg of lamb teamed with meaty lobster, mushrooms and an eggplant puree; red snapper and a hanger steak that is truly off the charts. This is a restaurant vying for the top spot in Phoenix.
