As I mentioned, Providence isn’t all about grilled pizza, as proven by this great Sicilian-style pizzeria. The crust at Caserta is thicker, but not as thick as a true Sicilian pizza. The menu is as simple as the décor, where you choose a small or large pizza, and your desired toppings from a limited list (cheese, pepperoni, mushroom, anchovies, olives). I still remember that first bite into the puffy crust (there was a nice crunch to it when fresh out of the oven) topped with plenty of melted cheese and thick tomato sauce. Simple yet prepared with the perfect ratio.
