The Lark

Set in the heart of the Funk Zone, a vibrant arts district and home to surf shops, galleries and the popular Urban Wine Trail, the building’s décor blends found objects and modern, urban and industrial materials in a homage to the history of California train travel and the building it is housed in -- the long-gone Santa Barbara Fish Market. In the kitchen, executive chef Jason Paluska and executive sous/pastry chef Nick Flores create fresh food with a modern twist. Dishes feature artisanal and seasonal ingredients celebrating the bounty of the wineries, farms and ocean in and around Santa Barbara County. Dishes are served family style, and diners can choose to sit at a 24-seat communal table.
