MICHELIN 1 STARRED
A "Michelin Star" is a hallmark of fine dining quality at restaurants around the world. The Michelin tire company launched its first guidebook to encourage road tripping in France in 1900 and began sending out anonymous restaurant reviewers to try restaurants in 1926. Michelin awards 1 to 3 stars on the basis of those anonymous reviews. A 1 Star restaurant is a good place to stop on your journey, indicating a very good restaurant in its category, offering cuisine prepared to a consistently high standard.
